Photography TripPosted on: 08/07/2019
A group of Year 9 and 10 students visited the Photographers Gallery for a workshop to find out more about different career opportunities in the industry. Marysa Dowling the professional photographer facilitating the session challenged students to select and talk about a photograph of their choice. I was really impressed by their ability to articulate their interpretations despite a few initial reservations about speaking in front of the group.
Marysa commented on the creativity and engagement of the girls in the group challenge to produce one image for an intended audience. The girls were a credit to the school and I’m hoping to see some of these aspiring photographers in a few years time on our flourishing A level photography course.
