Free School Meals

It is important that your child has a balanced diet to support her health, development and provide a firm foundation for learning. Free School Meals is a benefit available to support families who meet the criteria set by the government to provide for their school-age children.

If you are entitled to Free School Meals please do claim.  Not only does your child receive a free daily school meal allowance, but the school benefits from additional funding for each registered student.

The letter below includes more information about Free School Meals and the application form to apply. 

For new year 7 students, receipt of free school meals at primary school does not carry over into the new school so we need you to reapply to continue to receive this benefit.

Covid-19 remote arrangements: provision of free school meal benefits during periods of national lockdown and/or individual isolation has been communicated to eligible families. If you have any further queries, please contact your Director of Learning or enquiries@copthall.barnet.sch.uk.  Eligibility checks are still required at this time – please complete the form below.  Certain families without recourse to public funds may be eligible for FSM on a temporary basis – if you think this affects you, please contact enquiries@copthall.barnet.sch.uk asking for an application form.
