Structure of the School Day ~ September 2024

The Page Street entrance is open to students from 08.00am
8.30 - 8.50am	Registration	20 mins
8.50 - 9.55am	Period 1	65 minutes
9.55 - 11.00am	Period 2	65 minutes
11.00 - 11.20am	Break	20 minutes
11.20 - 12.25pm	Period 3	65 minutes
12.25 - 1.25pm	Period 4	60 minutes
1.25pm - 2.05pm	Lunch *	40 minutes
2.05 - 3.10pm	Period 5	65 minutes

* On alternative Wednesdays (timetable week 1), students will be dismissed at 1.25pm, with some opportunities for students to participate in on-site enrichment or intervention activities, while staff take part in professional development training and meetings.

• There will be 5 x lessons per-day (4 x lessons at 65 mins and 1 x lesson at 60 mins per day) 
• ‘Enrichment Wednesday’ will take place every Week 2 (where students can engage in a range of extra-curricular enrichment activities) 
• The school day will start at 8.30am. 
• The school day will end at 3.10pm. 
• There will be 2-week half term during the Autumn term.
• Average Compulsory Contact Time per-week: 32.5 hours 
• Average Learning Hours per-week: 26 hours and 40 mins
