Kenilworth Castle Year 11 GCSE Trip

Posted on: 21/03/2023

Year 11 GCSE History students were literally blown away last week during their trip to Kenilworth castle in Warwickshire.  The group withstood high winds and rain but remained positive and a credit to the school throughout the visit.  Kenilworth used to be one of the most important castles in England.  It was owned by monarchs and their families until it was purposely slighted (damaged) after the English Civil War.  Students were taken on a detailed guided tour and got to see the different elements of the castle and learn how the castle’s function changed over time.
