Parental Engagement Group

We are delighted to share that we successfully organised and hosted Copthall's Parental Engagement Session, welcoming parents and carers into our community for a meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
The session provided an important opportunity for families to gain deeper insight into the work we do to support our students both academically and pastorally. Throughout the event, parents and carers engaged in discussions on several key topics, including:
- Bullying and how we safeguard our students
- Online safety and responsible digital behaviour
- Use of Epraise and how it helps track progress, rewards, and communication
- Behavioural expectations, concerns, and positive support strategies
- Opportunities to meet and speak with key members of staff who play an essential role in student wellbeing and success
Parents shared their thoughts, asked insightful questions, and gained a clearer understanding of the systems, values, and support structures that shape student life at our school. The session also helped strengthen the partnership between home and school, something I firmly believe is vital to ensuring that every student thrives.
We are pleased to share that another parental engagement event will be planned soon, and we will communicate the date and details in due course.
Thank you to Mr Maturine for his collaboration and ensuring that everything went smooth.
Ms Hashemi
