Students undertook the Bank of Ireland’s Code Camp.  Code Camp is a programme aimed at improving the digital skills of students aged 15 – 18 years old and to raise awareness of the exciting career opportunities that exist in the technology sector. The morning session was delivered by technical experts from Kainos and helped students learn the fundamentals of coding using the latest technologies and tools.  Students spent the morning practicing coding, developing language and building a few web pages.

These selected students were praised for their conduct, focus and their expert knowledge. This highlights the dedication these amazing students have put into their topic. Mill Hill Staff were full of praise for our Year 9 students who represented the school superbly, even going as far to supporting other students on the course.

Blessing Emmanuel 9C – “I found this session very informative and the mentor's enthusiasm was very inspiring. I can't wait to get back to my computer science lessons at Copthall”.

Paria Kiaae 9P – “It was helpful to work with someone from a different background, two heads work together better than one”.
