European Day of Languages at Copthall

On Wednesday 27th September, the Modern Languages Department celebrated European Day of Languages.  Our whole school assembly which launched the event was engaging and funny with a mixture of student and staff presenting. During lessons that day, students practised tongue twisters in different languages and sang songs.  They also learned about the traditions and cultures of the countries of origin of their peers.  At lunch time, thanks to the EAL Department, students were given taster lessons in various different languages.  Our Copteen served up culinary delights from around the world,  very tasty indeed!
