Drama - ACTOUT!

At the start of this half term the Drama department organised an opportunity for next year’s GCSE groups to experience three professional workshops at school delivered by the company ACTOUT. They were focusing on the skills of devising and characterisation. The work completed was fantastic the skills gained in the workshops will aid their performance work next year. I was excited to see the emerging talent working its way up the school.

As part of the same experience the group were taken to see La Strada in the West end- which was a wonderful chance for the girls to see a real life performance. The girls came away inspired and ready to implement ideas into their own work.

Well done to all of the girls involved- looking forward to creating some fabulous work next year.
