Year 10 GCSE Drama trip to see Stephen Mallatratt, The Women in BlackPosted on: 22/11/2021
On Wednesday 17th November, Year 10 GCSE ventured into Convent Garden, to The Fortune Theatre to see, Stephen Mallatratt’s ingenious stage adaptation of Susan Hill’s enticing ghost story, The Woman in Black. It was a fantastic evening, London was glowing with Christmas lights and a festive buzz. The performance was captivating and very enjoyable for all.
“The acting was incredible” (Year 10 student) “ The whole performance was so good- I also kept noticing the use of lighting from what we have been learning in lessons- I could see a Gobo!” (Year 10 student)
Both Mrs Dyson and Ms Konstantinou were proud of our Copthall students throughout the whole evening.
The drama department are looking forward to taking Year 11 to see Dear Evan Hansen in the New Year. We are ecstatic that theatres are now open and we can go back to enriching the lives of our students.
