Change of mind? It's not too late to place Copthall as your first choice!
If you did not place Copthall as your first choice on the eAdmissions portal, you can still request a change of preference. You should do this as soon as possible but before 7 March 2021 (7 days after National Offer Day). To change your preference:
Send an email to email@example.com
Say that you wish to wish to change your secondary school preference and have Copthall as your first choice
If possible, include your eAdmissions reference number (not essential)
Include your daughter’s name and full address details
If your application is made before 1 March, you should receive Copthall as your school choice on National Offer Day (1 March 2021)
If your application is made after 1 March and we still have space available, you should receive Copthall as your school choice in the second round of offers (end March 2021).
Further information on the secondary school application process is published on the eAdmissions online portal and on Barnet’s website: https://www.barnet.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/apply-secondary-school/transferring-secondary-school
I am Ms Elfersy, the Director of Learning for Year 7
A very warm welcome to Copthall School!
I am Ms Elfersy, the Director of Learning for Year 7.
Starting Copthall School as a Year 7 student is very exciting. You can expect outstanding lessons from our amazing teachers, the opportunity to use our incredible facilities such as our dance studio and the opportunity to make friends for life.
Experiencing Copthall School as a Year 7 is very unique. Our girls are extremely supportive and welcome our Year 7s with open arms. The school has a family feel and lots of opportunities for Year 7s to interact and be mentored by our role models in other Years. Copthall school is extremely diverse and celebrates all cultures, backgrounds and religions. We especially take pride in our International Women's Day each year which inspires many of our students. We also prioritise student voice; it is very exciting to see our Year 7s discuss and create change throughout the school. Copthall School focusses on empowering our girls right from the start.
It is very special to be a Year 7 student at Copthall.

I love Copthall school because of the people here, the teachers and students. The teachers are helpful and kind to me, they help me with everything, encourage me to work harder, and encourage me to become a strong independent woman. I have made so many friends who make me laugh and smile. I have no regrets choosing Copthall as my secondary school.

I love Copthall School because the classes are fun. The teachers are nice, helpful and respectful to students. Remote learning is tricky but it gets easier with learning. PE is my favourite subject and I love football and Rugby.
|Rose A. (7C)||I like the Copteen because it has a lot of space and I really love the outdoor gym. Remote learning has been easy for me and for my parents to set up form me. Teachers are really helpful and supportive. My favourite subject is PE because I love the exercises we do with our friends and then we can do the same with our family.|

Copthall has improvised the learning space to accommodate us so that we can learn safely together. History is my favourite subject and my teacher is really good. I love learning about the past and Black History Month. Remote learning has been difficult but at least we were all safe at home. Copthall is a big school and the teachers are really nice. I love being at Copthall!
