Sports Leaders - SEND Primary Seated Volleyball Event

Our Sports Leaders played a key role in supporting the Sports Partnership in the seated volleyball event for local primary schools. Throughout the day, they demonstrated excellent organisation, enthusiasm, and professionalism, contributing significantly to the overall success of the event.

They took responsibility for setting up activities, explaining rules clearly to participants, demonstrating, umpiring and ensuring that all pupils were engaged and supported. Their proactive approach meant that transitions between activities were smooth and efficient.

Feedback from the Sports Partnership was extremely positive. They praised the leaders for being “brilliant” and highlighted how their involvement made the event run much more smoothly. In particular, their strong understanding of the activities and expectations allowed them to work with confidence and independence.

The Sports Leaders should be commended for representing the school so positively. Their teamwork, communication skills, and willingness to take initiative ensured a high-quality experience for all the primary pupils involved.
