New Age Kurling
Posted on: 09/02/2026
A selected number of Year 8 and Year 9 girls attended a competition of 'New Age Kurling'. As they learn unfamiliar rules, techniques and strategies, they are challenged to think differently, adapt quickly and support one and another. Each attempt builds coordination, focus, and problem-solving skill.
Through teamwork and determination, our students develop resilience, confidence and a willingness to embrace new challenges and skills that extend beyond the Kurling Court. Our Year 8 team won 3 out of 3 games and our Year 9 team won 2 out of 3 games, Well done to all those that competed.
Students: Diamon M 8C, Ziggy M 8T, Heeba T 8P, Hamasa Y 9A, Phebee H 9L, Lola T 9L and Alessia-Maria C 9H.
