University of Cambridge Oxbridge Talk for Year 12
Our Year 12 students had the exciting opportunity to hear from representatives from the University of Cambridge, who delivered an insightful session on everything students need to know about applying to Oxford and Cambridge. The talk covered key aspects of the Oxbridge application process, including admissions advice, interview preparation, and ways to strengthen applications through super-curricular activities. Students also learned where to find high-quality super-curricular resources and gained valuable tips to help them begin preparing for competitive university applications with confidence.
Middlesex University Student Finance & Student Life Talk
Our partner university, Middlesex University, delivered an insightful session for our Year 13 students, focusing on student life and student finance. The talk provided valuable guidance on what to expect at university, how student funding works, and the support available to students throughout their studies. As many Year 13 students are currently confirming their UCAS choices and considering their next steps, the session was particularly timely, helping them make informed decisions about the pathways that best suit their aspirations and future goals.
Following the presentation, representatives from Middlesex University stayed on to provide one-to-one personal statement reviews for our early applicants. Students received tailored feedback and practical advice on how to strengthen and refine their personal statements, with guidance carefully aligned to their individual university and course choices. This personalised support gave students valuable insights into how they could further enhance their applications and present themselves as strong candidates.
