Copthall School Celebrates Another Year of Strong GCSE Results

Copthall School is delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students following this year’s GCSE results.

Once again, our students have demonstrated their hard work, determination and commitment, with several key measures of attainment continuing to strengthen year on year.

We are particularly proud to see the number of students achieving the highest GCSE grades of 8 and 9 continue to increase, reflecting the ambition and dedication of our students and the excellent support provided by staff throughout their time at Copthall.

There has also been an increase in the number of students achieving strong passes, with more students securing grades 5 and above in five or more GCSE subjects. Overall, the number of students achieving a good pass has continued to rise year on year, with an impressive 68% of students achieving a grade 4 or above.

We are also extremely proud of our commitment to the English Baccalaureate (EBacc). Almost 60% of our Year 11 cohort entered the full EBacc pathway, demonstrating our continued commitment to ensuring that students have access to a broad and ambitious academic curriculum.

These results reflect not only the student’s hard work and resilience, but also the dedication of our staff and the support of families throughout their secondary education.

We would like to congratulate every student on their achievements and thank everyone who has supported them along the way. We would like to congratulate all of our Year 11 students and wish them every success in the next chapter of their lives.

We are incredibly proud of them and look forward to hearing about all they go on to achieve.
