In Game 4 against St Michael’s Red, the team faced a very strong side and suffered an 8–2 loss. Precious scored both goals, continuing to lead by example with her attacking play. The team remained positive and resilient despite the challenging opposition.

The final match, Game 5 against King Alfred, saw the team finish on a high with another 2–2 draw. Precious once again contributed both goals, demonstrating consistency and accuracy under pressure.

A special mention must go to our sports leaders, Daisy and Syna, who took on the roles of team manager and umpire throughout the tournament. They were outstanding in coordinating the team, delivering clear and motivating team talks, and providing the right level of support and encouragement. Their leadership played a significant role in maintaining team morale and organisation across the event.

Overall, the team showed great perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship across all five matches. Precious was a standout performer in attack, while all players contributed with effort and commitment. The experience will provide a valuable foundation for future development and competition.

12Year 8 & 9 Netball League Playoff's

On Tuesday 24th March, our Year 8 and Year 9 netball teams took part in the borough league playoffs, facing strong and competitive opposition from JCoSS, St Michael’s and Christ College Finchley. The standard of play throughout the tournament was exceptionally high, with every match testing the girls’ skill, teamwork, and determination.

Both teams demonstrated outstanding resilience, never backing down in the face of tough competition. Their commitment, effort and positive attitude were evident in every game, with players supporting one another and showing real pride in representing the school.

There were some fantastic moments of play across both teams, including strong defensive work, excellent movement through the court and determined attacking play. Most importantly, the girls consistently gave their best and embodied our school values throughout the tournament.

We are incredibly proud to share that both the Year 8 and Year 9 teams finished 4th in the borough, a fantastic achievement given the level of competition.

Well done to all players involved for their effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork - an excellent representation of the school both on and off the court.

A special shoutout to Miss Jordan for helping myself and Mrs Morrison with the teams. Also, to Miss Pan for coming a supporting the girls. The girls and I really appreciate the support, thank you.
