Year 9 Football Cup Match vs Bishop Douglass

Our Year 9 girls put in a determined and disciplined performance in their recent cup fixture against Bishop Douglass. The team started brightly, showing real organisation and composure at the back. Despite this strong start, Bishop Douglass broke the deadlock midway through the first half.

The girls responded brilliantly, earning a well-worked equaliser from a set piece: a pinpoint corner delivered by Fabiana and confidently finished by Oumie.

In the second half, Bishop Douglass came out with renewed energy. Their number 12 proved particularly hard to contain, using her power and pace to break through our defensive line and score three additional goals. The final score ended 1-4, bringing our cup journey to a close.
