Sixth Form Team

Ms Costello was educated at a comprehensive school in North London, and went to study at Bristol university, gaining a degree in History. She has worked across London and Hertfordshire in roles ranging from specialist provision for emotional and behavioural need to leading  Teaching and Learning. Ms Costello has worked for the SSAT, providing national training and guidance, and also provides training for History NQTs. She joined Copthall School in September 2019.

Miss Mehta

Ms Mehta was educated at a School in Brent, and completed a BSc undergraduate degree in Psychology at Roehampton University. After working in schools for several years as a teaching assistant, an unqualified teacher and gaining a Cert in Psychotherapy and Counselling, she decided to pursue a career in teaching, where she completed a PGCE in Psychology at the Institute of Education. Ms Mehta joined Copthall School in September 2018. 

Miss Connolly was educated at Copthall comprehensive school. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in 2009 with a First Class Honours degree in Dance Theatre. Miss Connolly continued her studies, completing an MA in Dance Performance in 2010 whilst touring as part of Transitions Dance Company. Miss Connolly then returned to Copthall completing her Graduate Teacher Programme in Dance. Since starting Copthall in 2010, Miss Connolly teaches Dance up to A Level, Physical Education and Drama. In 2014 she was appointed to Year 13 Director of Learning and UCAS Coordinator, working closely with Sixth Form students and their transition to Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Employment Post 18.
