Year 10 Geographers visited Canvey Island

The Year 10 geographers visited Canvey Island on Friday 13th June as part of their GCSE fieldwork exercise, Where the group evaluated the impact of coastal defences on the coastline. 

It was the hottest day of the year with temperatures over 29 degrees Celsius! Nevertheless, it was lovely to carry out research on the beach, talking to local people, eating lots ice cream and of course most importantly, enjoying learning outside the classroom. 

The group worked incredibly hard well done!!
