Pupil Premium Grant
Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) 2019-20
In April 2011 the government introduced the Pupil Premium Grant in order to support "disadvantaged pupils” who are those who have received free school meals at some point in the past six years. The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) of £295,000 was allocated to Copthall school in 2019-2020 in order to help close the gap between the disadvantaged students and their peers.
Since September 2017 we have been following a new Pupil Premium strategy that sets out principles for allocating spending and the whole school approach towards raising attainment and accelerating the progress of Pupil Premium students. This is linked below and monitored regularly for effectiveness and impact. The spending plan for 2019-2020 is currently under review and will be available here in due course.
