Study Skills workshop - Wednesday 30th May 2012
As part of the study skills workshops that will be taking place on Wednesday 30th May 2012 for all yr10 students, Copthall are providing an opportunity for parents to attend a specific evening put in place in order for you to be able to support your daughter’s journey through the GCSE years. The workshop will enable you to be familiar with ways in which you can help and support your daughter to maximise her learning. We are inviting you to join us on the evening of the study skills day (Wednesday, 30th May 2012) between 6.45pm – 8.00pm. The purpose of this evening is to offer you advice and suggest techniques you can employ to encourage your daughter to approach her studies in a measured and focussed way. The evening will enable you to share ideas with your daughter after she has completed her own study skills session. A letter has been sent home with all the details.
I look forward to seeing you all on the 30th May 2012.
Ms Shrubsole
Pastoral Leader Yr10
