Curriculum Leader of Physical Education

Full Time - MPR/UPR & TLR2B

Start date: September 2024.

Applications are invited from a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated Head of PE who will lead a dynamic and committed department with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities on site. The successful candidate will have the vision and creativity to lead the department, curriculum and extra-curricular activities across 11-16 and with the potential to expand the department to 11-18.

As well as Core PE, Physical Education is increasingly popular at Key Stage 4. The school is committed to supporting the subject to grow into Key Stage 5 and develop both in the classroom and through the school’s wider enrichment/Curricular offer.  The successful candidate will be a well-qualified and highly motivated PE teacher and Leader who is a strong team player and whose passion for Sports and Girls education will inspire and engage our students in this field. who is also

  • demonstrate the competence to lead a forward looking, hardworking and enthusiastic team of staff with the desire and skills to improve outcomes 
  • think strategically to inspire and promote high expectations to raise standards
  • committed to promoting extra-curricular trips and activities
