Year 10 students visit Gonville & Caius, University of Cambridge

As part of the careers programme offered at Copthall, a group of Year 10 students had an amazing opportunity to visit Cambridge University in January.  The day included a tour of Gonville & Caius college including the oldest student library in the university, interactive session on courses offered, Oxbridge university and application process.  Students also had the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with current students.  We also visited the Zoology Museum, attended a workshop on Climate Change and the effects on butterflies with students taking part in problem solving activities.   At Copthall we continue to raise aspirations and inspire our students to consider a broad and ambitious range of education pathways.
