STEM Scholars society took part in the RSPB's Schools Big Garden Bird Watch

Posted on: 29/01/2020

On Friday the STEM Scholars society took part in the RSPB’s Schools Big Garden Bird Watch. Students created a bird garden and made bird feeders to track the schools bird diversity at Copthall School. The Students braved extreme weather conditions to take part in this national study of bird populations.

As a group we record 2 Magpies, 5 Wood Pigeons and 12 Feral Pigeons. This data has been sent to the RSPB. Many students also took part in the Schools Big Garden Bird Watch in their own gardens and thus helped support the RSPB with their vital work.
