To develop the personal and professional skills of each therapist so they will rival the very best in the industry
Beauty Therapy is now an established subject here at Copthall School and offers qualifications at Key Stage 4 and 5. With a small team of two tutors, we will be able to guide and support your journey into the Beauty Therapy Industry.
As a Beauty Therapy student, you will learn in a warm and friendly environment, we will ensure that by the time you leave us you will hold an array of life skills that will be valuable in helping you enter the world of work.

Extra Curricular
The department offers a wide range of enrichment activities. The students will be offered the chance to visit trade and skills shows, participate in additional training with professional product companies as well as the opportunities to enter the prestigious World Skills UK competition. Students will also be tasked with organising and participating in various wellness events offered to members of the community.
Careers & Employment
On completion of the Level 3 Combined Diploma in Beauty Therapy, you will be able to seek employment in various jobs. These include working on a cruise ship, in a salon, as a self-employment therapist or opening and managing your own salon. You may be interested in further study and specialise in a particular area such as physiotherapy, Hair and Media Make-up or undertake various short courses in level 4 treatments such as dermaplaning or microneedling.

Facilities
The Beauty Therapy Salon has eight workstations and a range of machines and products suitable for carrying out the various treatments we offer. Once the period of learning has taken place, the students open and run the salon providing these treatments to members of the community.
