School Council News

Posted on: 09/01/2018

On Monday 18th December our School Council took part in an exciting workshop to explore the different aspects of leadership.  It was run by Tony Lewis, Voice of the Child co-ordinator for Barnet, who helped the School Council to understand that successful leadership involves using different methods at different times, depending on the situation.  In one exercise some students were blindfolded while the leader had to instruct the group to construct a tower of bricks in a certain way and with certain colours.  The team learned that clear instructions and planning ahead by the leader, and co-operation from the group was the most effective way of getting the job done. Let’s hope they can put this into practise.
